Return & Cancellation Policy

1. Ride Cancellation by User
  • Before Driver Is Assigned:

    • You can cancel the ride anytime before a driver is assigned without any charges.

    • If payment was made in advance, a full refund will be initiated.

  • After Driver Is Assigned:

    • If the ride is canceled after a driver has been assigned but before pickup, a cancellation fee may apply depending on distance and time.

    • The remaining amount, if prepaid, will be refunded.

  • Driver Arrived & Waiting:

    • If the driver arrives at the location and waits for a reasonable time (as per our policy) but the user doesn’t show up or cancels, no refund will be provided.


2. Cancellation by SafeCab
  • In rare cases, SafeCab may cancel your ride due to:

    • Driver unavailability

    • Technical errors

    • Safety or regulatory concerns

  • In such cases, if payment was already made, a full refund will be processed automatically.


3. Return & Refund Policy
  • Refunds are applicable only for prepaid rides as per cancellation conditions.

  • Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

  • Time may vary based on your bank/payment provider.


4. No Returns After Ride Completion
  • Once the ride has been completed, SafeCab does not offer returns or refunds unless:

    • The trip was incorrectly charged.

    • There was a verified issue with service quality.

  • Users must report such concerns within 48 hours to be eligible for review.
